October 11-13, 2024: ECYD South Regional Convention
Title: Heart of the Kingdom - ECYD Southeast Convention
Formation Theme: ECYD is a vehicle that helps me on the journey to the heart of God, I am part of something bigger with many other girls, and discovering that the heart of the Kingdom is God!
Who: Rising 5th – 8th grade girls
Nature of Activities: Activities include but are not limited to daily prayer, mass, adoration, opportunity for confession and one-on-one spiritual mentoring, formation talks, activities and dynamics, indoor and outdoor sports and games which may include swimming, volleyball, soccer, hiking etc.
Activity Supervisors: Maria Knuth, Amelia Hoover, Lu Perez, Margie Lademan and Volunteer Staff
Event Times: Event begins at 5:00pm on Friday, October 11, 2024 and ends after 11:30am Closing Mass open to families on Sunday, October 13, 2024
Title: Into the Deep - 8th – 12th Grade ECYD/RC Girls’ Retreat
Subtitle: “Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch…. I plead with you--never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.” St. John Paul II
Formation Theme: Exploring ways to grow in our relationship with God through prayer, willing to invest our time and our hearts in prayer, and boldly going deep with Jesus.
Activities Include: Formation talks and discussions, chill time, night activities, team time, daily mass, adoration and guided prayers, opportunity for confession and one-on-one spiritual mentoring, outdoor fun and more!
The activities are led by RC Young Adults, adult volunteers, Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and the Legionaries of Christ.

Formation Theme: This upcoming year the Church is celebrating a jubilee year with the theme “Pilgrims of Hope.” In this Advent Day retreat, we will contemplate the source of our Hope and be joyful witnesses of this Hope! Start the Advent season deciding how together you want to plant seeds of hope among your family and friends this Christmas.
Activities Include: Formation talks per age group, mass and prayer moment together, opportunity for confession, mother and daughter conversation time, games, lunch, craft and more!
The activities are led by ECYD Team Leaders, adult volunteers, Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and the Legionaries of Christ.
March 14-16, 2024: Lenten Retreat for 5th-7th Grade
Title: The Superpower of the Apostle
Subtitle: Discover God’s own presence in your heart and how to share his love with others!
Formation Theme: The “superpower” of the Apostle is God’s own life and presence in our hearts. We will explore together how to strengthen our relationship with our Best Friend in prayer learning to find him and listen to him in the silence of our hearts so as to better understand the world around us and the different events of our lives. From this superpower, we can bring Christ to others.
Activities Include: Formation experiences, crafts, games, crazy fun night activities, team time, daily mass, adoration and guided prayers, opportunity for confession and one-on-one spiritual mentoring, outdoor fun and more!

The activities are led by ECYD Team Leaders, adult volunteers, Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and the Legionaries of Christ.
Subtitle: St. Joan of Arc Edition – Saints of Louisiana Series
Who: Rising 5th – 8th grade girls (for the 2025-2026 school year … current 4th – 7th grade girls in the 2024-2025 school year)
Formation theme: Fearless in our friendship with Christ and being women of valor! “I am not afraid…I was born to do this!” St. Joan of Arc - ECYD Camp Fearless! is a story camp allowing each of the participants to enter the life of St. Joan of Arc. Learning about her life as a woman warrior also known as the 'Maid of Orleans,' Joan was just a teenager when she led the French against an English siege of Orléans in 1429. She valiantly stayed true to her faith and to what Jesus was asking of her. Each camper will experience the thrill of being a woman of valor and fearlessly loving Jesus and giving of themselves!
Activities Include: Daily participation in St. Joan of Arc’s Life, crafts, swimming, games, crazy fun night activities, team time, daily mass and guided prayers, opportunity for confession and one-on-one spiritual mentoring, formation activities and more!
The activities are led by ECYD Team Leaders, ECYD Missionaries, adult volunteers, Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and the Legionaries of Christ.
JULY 10-14, 2025: Mini Camp for Rising 5TH - 8TH Grades
Title: ECYD Mini Camp Fearless

Who: Rising 1st- 4th grade girls (for the 2025-2026 school year, girls who currently in K-3 grade in the 2024-2025 school year)
Formation Theme: A day camp of faith, virtue and fun! The Challenge Junior Day Camp is made to match the developmental needs of early elementary age. Each day is built around a virtue and giving the girls ways to live it out with God, at home, at school or with their friends. The structure of each day is made up of fun, crafts, activities, saints, prayers, and games to help the virtue become something real and accessible to their age.
Activities Include: Games, swimming, crafts, prayer experiences and opportunities for the sacraments, virtue and saint talks and skits, fun with friends, outdoor fun and more!
